John Drake, who called himself, Drake the Snake, was a kid who just got paroled 7 months before the events of Casefile #36, Running on Empty. He had washed cars for Ed Brooke before being fired for stealing tools. He was eventually killed by Max Elburk who used a rope to strangle him.
