Barry started his official work in Comics as an office boy at Terrific Comics. He later (about 10 years before the events of Casefile #42) became a penciler. He soon became one of Terrific Comics star creators, penciling two of Terrific Comics most popular titles. Barry eventually went out on his own and created Zenith Comics with a comic book called, Metaman. Harry Saul of Terrific Comics sued Barry saying that Barry stole Metaman from his company. A man by the name of Dewey Strong, who also left Terrific Comics and joined Zenith, testified against Harry. Harry Saul lost his lawsuit.
