Title: Nancy Drew hints and help
Post by: Kerin on October 14, 2008, 09:46:05 PM
JoeHardyRocks and I were discussing opening a topic like this in the 'Nancy Drew and the Hauting of Castle Malloy' topic when she helped me with a part where I got stumped.
If any one needs any help/hints with one of the Nacny drew games post it here, so someone can help you.

Olivia, you should play them!  By the way, which ones are they?

I've played:
Secrets Can Kill
Final Scene
Message in a Haunted Mansion

In the middle of:
Stay Tuned for Danger

The rest:
Treasure in the Royal Tower
Secrets of the Old Clock
Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon

You should play all three of those last ones, but I like Last Train and Old Clock best.

Last train has the Hardy Boys and they're pretty funny. "It's not like it's from Mark Twain or anything." :D

Actually, it's okay because I don't know WHEN they'll say it either, so it's cool ;)

You mean, "Just do it!"

If I did, I wouldn't be on here as often. That would be a tragedy.

Nah, actually I need to get through some of those other games first. I rather save the better one for last.

I'm playing the one with the cristal skull, it's awsome, but I'm stuck on the part where I have the distract the store owner. What do I do?

First you have to get the 'sneezing powder' from all the other powders and take it over to the shelves with all the junk on it and set up some kind of contraption.
I'll post a pic from a screeshot so you know where everything goes.

Once you get it all set up go and ask the store owner to come 'help you with something'.After he starts sneezing things should go from there on their own.If not you just head to the back room.

Heres the pic:

Hope that helps. :)

I'm on the cristel skull one and I am having trouble getting the clocklete bar. I'm in the room, but I can't pick up the bar!  One more question, if I do that, will the skelliton dude appear?

You mean you are in the room, and looked in the little cabinet where the chocolate bars are, but can't pick one up? First you have to get the paper you need that's in the cabinet drawer, before you pick up the chocolate bar. But you can only get one if Renee asks you to get it.

And no, the Skeleton guy will not appear if you get the chocolate bar.

Yeah, you have to go find the books. The books are in the place where Kyler Mallory is sitting. They are mostly in the bookshelves, but one is on that table in the back of the room.
