Title: Terror On Tour: The video game?
Post by: Bigfootman on May 31, 2009, 10:48:45 AM
As this topic is taking up space in another one, I feel the topic must go here. Would you want a Terror On Tour video game?

Rules:
Polite disscusion, do not copy long posts, instead copy parts from the member's post you would like to adress, remember this is not a dissing fight, this is a debate. The biggest rule all...EXPLAIN! Don't just say, "You are missing all the game potential," (What game potental?) "Use your imagination," , and  "You like/hate the UBs, and that the only reason you like/ hate the idea of this game!". Instead, use something like this:

Intro Sentence:

Argument 1: Evidence to back up the argument

Argument 2: Evidence to back up the argument

You get the point.

I will post my reasons for not wanting a terror on tour video game later tonight.

There was going to be a Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys SuperMystery game, back in 2007, but nothing came of it.

Judging by the fact it was supposed to come out on Jan 1, I'm guessing it was going to be New Year's Evil.

Nancy Drew video games are boring, only the CDs are worth playing.

Then why do you even post in this section? Why do you want a Terror On Tour game if you call the Nancy Drew games boring?  PC games are video games! So saying that you hate Nancy Drew video games means you hate the PC games!

Wow, don't get so worked up about it.  I don't think that she knows that PC games are considered Video games. Me and her both like the PC games, but the DS games just were not very good.

Satisfied?

I do, but the DS games are pretty bad. I said I only liked the CDs.

OK, first of all, when, may I ask you, when did I say I "hate Nancy Drew video games"? Answer: Never! I said "Nancy Drew video games are boring, only the CDs are worth playing." Have you ever seen reviews for the Nancy Drew DS Games? They are awful! And the games are boring. Did you not see what I wrote? I said "The CDs are worth playing"? And PC games are not exactly video games. When I said "Nancy Drew video games are boring", I mean the DS games. I said I liked the PC games. So stop twisting my words, and think before you post things. ::)

Well, no offense but you didn't make any sense to me, either. The way you put it, I thought you were saying the games were boring, but you liked the CDs. Like music CDs or something.

Computer games are a kind of video game.

I just don't consider PC games to be video games.

They are chalanges made for enjoyment (or games) that have an electronic visual (or viedo) so they are viedo games.

I knew what JHR meant (and I?m not just taking her side).

I don?t necessarily consider PC games strictly ?video games? either. Yeah, they are both visual but they are different categories.

Oh well. Males and females just communicate differently.

How are PC games not video games?

Video - "The appearance of text and graphics on a video display."

Game - "An activity providing entertainment or amusement; a pastime."

I didn?t say they weren?t, but I?m more specific than that. If someone said to me ?I?m going to go buy a video game? I would automatically think it would be for a system like the Wii or PS3.

Both are in different sections of the store, too. Same general area ? but still separate.

Again, it?s just how people communicate, I think.

Edited: to be more clear.

I see the topic has been derailed. I can't change the title of the topic, so there's nothing we can do about it.
