Gamefaqs.com is reporting that the next Nancy Drew game is going to be called Warnings At Waverly Academy, due out in the 4th quarter of 2009.
We saw the little trailer thing when we finished Ransom of the Seven Ships. I kind of reminds me of the HB book Hazed. I looks so awesome!!! :D
The title just reminds me of Wizards of Waverly Place.

Lol! Me too.
I can't wait for it. It looks pretty interesting, and it's coming out in just a few months!
Yeah, when I was looking it up to find a release date, I kept typing Waverly Place instead of Waverly Academy.
Found what it is based off:
http://www.amazon.com/Curse-Black-Cat-Nancy-Drew/dp/0743406613
"When the prestigious Waverly Academy begins having trouble with mysterious occurences, Nancy and George are asked to go undercover as teaching interns and investigate the Black Cat that seems to be responsible for the mayhem."
Yes I know that it said that on wikipedia, but wikipedia also thought that The Haunting of Castle Malloy was based of the Bike Tour Mystery (Have the bike tour mystery, nothing like The Haunting of Castle Malloy), and Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon was based off the Legend Of Miner's Creek, when it was almost certainly based off Mystery Train, read the back cover summery that's on this site and you will see what I mean. So I had to double check.
There's a page on the game on Herinteractive.com. I can't wait for this one!
I think this is the shortest time between ND games I've ever seen. Ransom of the Seven Seas came out in July, and this game comes out next month- October.
I just picked up my copy of this game today. I played it a little bit, but I'll get into it more on the weekend.
One thing that I think Her Interactive should do for the next game is to release it as a PC DVD instead of a PC CD. Warnings At Waverly Academy comes on 2 CD's (Disc 1: 617MB, Disc 2: 518 MB= 1.14 GB) and you can really tell that Her Interactive applied a lot of compression to the video since the faces look very pixelated from the video being compressed in order to fit onto 2 CD's, and on a Widescreen High Definition monitor, all the details are very soft.
Also, watch out for the spindle in the case. The discs rest on top of each other, but getting them off without cracking or bending them is a pain in the neck, since the best way I found was to turn the case upside down, press "up" on the spindle and slide 1 disc off at a time. Why couldn't they have stuck with the older spindle's?
As I said, I'll play more on the weekend.
I know! I thought I was going to break the CD's while switching them during installing. Me and JHR finished the game in a day, because it is a little bit short, but it has a pretty good mystery and story.
