Title: Mystery of the Seven Keys
Post by: Bigfootman on June 13, 2024, 02:44:43 PM
Didn't see a topic on this, so I figured I would quickly start one. The game is loosely based on the Files book "Diamond Deceit". It looks like there's going to be way more puzzles then last game.  You can now switch between modern and classic controls. Another change is that there's actually going to background characters, so the locations don't look so empty.

I had gotten the feeling that Her Interactive had slowed down on the Nancy Drew video games, if not run out of steam altogether, but I guess the series is still moving along. Maybe I'm wrong but it just seems like it's been a while since the last game.

Nancy Drew: #34 Mystery of the Seven Keys is the newest game that's out.  I was able to order a physical copy of of the game, when they had a limited time frame to be able to do so.

The last game came out in 2019.  However games are taking longer to develop now than the did years ago just in general, especially if it's a series.

Although I don't like how they discontinued the physical releases.

Okay- yeah, I guess that's why it seems like such a long gap. And I didn't realize the physical releases had stopped. That's a shame.
