Does anybody play the Nancy Drew computer games? If you do and you're stuck just let me know I've probly played all of them three times or more except tne new one
I've played just one. Thinking about getting another one sometime, but been spending my money on a few other things at the moment.
Which one did you play?
The first Nancy Drew game I played was Message In A Haunted Mansion. A couple of years later I played Last Train To Blue Moon Canyon because it had the Hardy Boys. Since then I've played Treasure In The Royal Tower, Secrets Can Kill, Stay Tuned for Danger, Creature of Kapu Cave and White Wolf Of Icicle Creek.

Last Train To Blue Moon Canyon
I've played Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon, Shadow Ranch, the Curse of Blackmoor Manor, the Creature of Kapu Cave, the Secret of the Scarlet Hand, and Ghost Dogs at Moon Lake.
I finished Danger on Deception Island and Creature of Kapu Cave. I loved Ghost Dogs on Moon Lake and Danger on Deception Island because my all time favorite animals were on them. Rottweilers and killer whales. I've also played Shadow Ranch, Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon and Blackmoor Manor. I only play the ones in which you can call the HBs. ;)
I got a special "30th anniversary" deal where I got 5 games for $25 (CAD). The only one I've played so far is Message in a Haunted Mansion and I'm working on Secrets Can Kill right now :)

Sorry! I meant 75th. Now where did I get the idea of "30"? I must have been thinking about something else when I posted LOL!
I?ve been plying Message in a Haunted Mansion for about 3 days (in the game not in real life) and I still haven?t seen Louis Chandler or Abby Sideris, so what?s wrong? How do I see them?
And I?d also like to know were the safe is.
It has been a while, but I remember that Abby is in the kitchen during the day, while Louis is in the basement, between 9 and 5 p.m.
It?s actually Rose whose in the kitchen and Charlie whose in the basement, and I?ve seen both of them.
Louis is some guy who has an office in the library, and Abby has a bedroom up-stairs, but I've never seen them.
Thanks anyway.
Abby is in her bedroom expect from 3:00 - 6:00.Louis is in the library from Noon - 5:00.

But when she?s in her bedroom I can?t go in there and I?ve been in the library after noon lots of times and l?ve never seen him, that?s what I don?t get!?
I've watched my brother play a few, but I've never actually done one myself.

Sorry, I just realized I didn't answer the first part of your question! I got it at Best Buy, in-store! I think it was like a year ago. I know it was last year for sure :)
It's weird, whenever I buy a Nancy Drew game, it's 20.00 no matter how many Cds you get..
It's just because I got a limited special edition thing.
Well, actually I also got a 2-for-1 deal in Target a while ago too, so I don't know.
I just picked up the Nancy Drew Ultimate Dare collection at Wal-Mart yesterday for $29.83 CDN. If I'm right, this is the same as the 2-for-1 deal that Iola.Alive was talking about, except that this one was 4-for-1, since Ultimate Dare includes The Secret of Shadow Ranch, Curse Of Blackmoor Manor, Secret of The Old Clock & Last Train To Blue Moon Canyon.
I've been enjoying playing Secret of the Old Clock, of course I must say that sometimes I just have to laugh out loud because I'll go to use Nancy's cell phone and then I realize that the game is set in 1930. THEY DIDN'T HAVE CELL PHONES BACK THEN! So then I realize that I have to drive Nancy's blue roadster back to Lilac Inn in order to use the pay phone (or coin phone as its called in game) to call Carson Drew or George Fayne and Bess Marvin.
Has anyone else played Clock and perhaps had the oppurtunity to read both the original 1930 and the revised 1959 texts? If so, is the game a good interpretation of the 1930 story? And was Lilac Inn in either of the Clock books, or did the game's designers join stories of Clock and The Mystery At Lilac Inn together for the game?

They joined them together.Along with
The Hidden Staircase and
The Bungalow Mystery.
They took bits and pieces from each book and added them together.
I've read the revised text, but not the original.I don't think I've even seen an orinignal.
I've played Clock a few times, I always liked playing that one.
Lol, I kept forggeting she had a cell phone too.I start looking for it, but then realise 'oh, wait, they haven't been invented yet.'
I love old clock. I always look for the cellphone, but then I'm like '' AHH! I have to go back to the inn! NOOO!"

Why are you in his inner circle? I told you you would regret it.
Of course he would think stomping is funny. Elephants aren't associated with the U.S. for nothing.
Frank? Joe? dont care - too bad about that. I can imagine people acting out like that, but not my pops :(
Your grandma mean or something?
Are you referring to the GOP? Or categorizing the US as a sleeping elephant?
The second one.
And what's the GOP? Government of Pain? (Kidding).
Grand old Party. (Technical name of the Republicans)

you dont know my grandma yeah she is
I guess some people haven't had any difficult family members and/or friends. Some people, no matter how patient you are or how much you sacrifice they are terrible anyways.
And the one time you're not 100% pleasant it's like you cursed God or something.
Anyways, older women can be the worst like alice cullen said. But they can also be the best.
yeah she can be fun but she always wants me to play the same game of cards with her all the time and she gets mad when im "unsociable"
At least she can play cards! J/K.
Come on. I always have to listen to the same stories over and over from my grandma ;) Actually, it's okay though.
Well, older people do live in a different generation and are probably just a tad lonely. And some hate the way society is nowindays.
One of my grandmas follows football and baseball, so I can actually talk with her ...
And the other one IM's and e-mails a ton so ...
