The caboose was something that annoyed me when I read this book back in the day.  Passenger trains basically have never had cabooses or brake vans in North America. It's easy to take a lot of liberties with railways in fiction it seems, like how in one of the Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Super Mysteries, the train is operating like a cruise ship rather than an actual railway.

(on a sidenote, Canadian National was using a caboose still in Ottawa Ontario a couple years ago, but now said caboose is sitting in the Montreal trainyard.

I picked up the Harold Hill edition of "The Shore Road Mystery" at a Salvation Army in New Zealand.  I compared it to the American OT version and see that instead of hiding in their car's "locker" and eating "crackers", they hide in the boot and eat biscuits.

Nancy Drew: #34 Mystery of the Seven Keys is the newest game that's out.  I was able to order a physical copy of of the game, when they had a limited time frame to be able to do so.

I had gotten the feeling that Her Interactive had slowed down on the Nancy Drew video games, if not run out of steam altogether, but I guess the series is still moving along. Maybe I'm wrong but it just seems like it's been a while since the last game.

I will say that a new Nancy Drew Diaries book was announced out of nowhere, so they may be waiting until the Diaries series is dead before rebooting.

Didn't see a topic on this, so I figured I would quickly start one. The game is loosely based on the Files book "Diamond Deceit". It looks like there's going to be way more puzzles then last game.  You can now switch between modern and classic controls. Another change is that there's actually going to background characters, so the locations don't look so empty.

What appears to be the final Hardy Boys book to be published by Simon and Schuster for the foreseeable future is now available at local bookstores.
