Here's a list of the most mysterious Hardy Boys books:

Casefile 128: What was the book about? I'll qoute SDLagent on this, as he has read a few chapters a while ago:
Frank and Callie where going to a party, but for some reason Frank has to baby sit on of the neighbors kids, so Joe takes Callie to the part, instead (Vanessa is not mentioned).

While baby siting Frank logs-on to the families computer and finds document(s)/file(s), that lead him to believe that the boyfriend of the mother his baby sitting for is involved in some sinister business.

Meanwhile at the party or on the way home (can't remember but I seem to recall them driving at this point), Joe and Callie run into some trouble.

If anyone has any more info, I'd love to hear it.

Explosive force: Oddly, no one has any idea what the plot is. I can only guess that the Network had some part in the book.

Training For Trouble: Ok, I know this is repeating myself, but in this book, Joe gets stabbed and almost sufficated with a pillow and someone gets shot. In my opinion the book is way more violent then most digests. Could it be that it was suppoed to be a casefile?

Mystery of the Silver Star: Apperently, a completly diffrent virsion of this book was made in the casefile format.

Four-Wheel Die: Look at this, you will have scoll down a bit.

The Three Hour Cruise: Looks like the Blue-Spines had a starnge book of their own that neaver made it.

Update: I'm sending a letter to Simon & Schuster about the unpublished Casefiles. I'm not expecting much, but if I get anything, I'll put on my website and here.

While another Digest 86 manuscript does exist, it is unknown what the title of that manuscript is, but it is known that Mystery of The Silver Star was the title for the book that was ultimately printed, and not the title of the "Casefiles" styled outline.

This is an early outline for what became Collision Course.
