As of today, six Nancy Drew games are now available for purchase via steam.  One of the games is The Creature of Kapu Cave which also co-stars the Hardy Boys.  Several of the games (although not the one with the Hardy Boys in it) are on sale for 25-50% off.

The Nancy Drew games are produced by Her Interactive which is a new partner with Steam and their new Family Entertainment section of games.  Hopefully the Hardy Boys games are not far behind.

What is steam?  This links answers many questions.

I love steam.  No need to buy at a store and go through the install process anymore.  You buy online and once its downloaded you play it.

If you have a good internet connection, you can have a game up and running much faster than you could ever have by running to the store and then coming back and installing it.  And of course much better than ordering online and paying for shipping and waiting for it to arrive.

Also with Steam you can play the game from ANY internet connected computer.  So if you travel to a friends house or grandparents house and you don't want to drag that huge computer along with you, just log in to steam on their computer and within minutes (provided grandma has a broadband connection and not dialup) you can be playing your games.
