Well that's just your opinion.

No, that's also my opinion. Hits and Misses would be a way better choice.

The Case of the Vanishing Veil and Hotline to Danger would also be good, kind of creepy ones.

Smile And Say Murder would be a good undercover Nancy one.

I don't know if the companys ready to make a murder game yet. They got a kid audience to look out for.

Wasn't Secrets Can Kill, the first game from back in 1998 a murder mystery?  Since I'm pretty sure that in that game Nancy was brought into the investigation because someone at a high school was murdered, plus in the Nancy Drew Files book of the same name (Nancy Drew Files #1 to be exact) someone was killed.

Here's some more:
The Stolen Bones: Perfect for a puzzle game, and I always thought that there were too few games with dinosaur digging in it.
Dance Till You Die: An exciting game, that's if they keep with the plot of original book, and don't mess up like they did with their remake of the Bluebeard room.  :-\
The Triple Hoax: Lots of puzzles, and there is no way they could put chores in it. Unless they go as far too....

Maybe we should send this topic to Her Interactive

Dance ?Til You Die would be a cool one ? especially with the club. You can go at night like in the book, and also during the day while no one?s there (except the people that work there) and ask questions and investigate.

I think JHR meant that it?s only a viewpoint as opposed to fact.

There was no murder, just death threats. Hold on, wasn't that the same with Danger By Design? I think the game borrowed some things from the Files...

Quite a few Nancy Drew games would scare kids, including my favorite, Secret Of The Cyristal Skull, and by the way, the game seems to have a murder. So, adding some games with Murder in them would be ok.

I was thinking we could make a poll out of this, so try to put more  detail into the reason why you want the book to made into a game three sentance minimum.

For example:
The Stolen Bones: Perfect puzzle game, as digging for bones would be a good puzzle. No seret passsiges, but plenty of clue finding. The end would be cool. They could also make find the combination for locks puzzles.

Dance Till You Die: You could go to the club during night and day. Puzzle solving could be put in, maybe even a secret room. The end would be really fun, and really tough.

Clue In The Crossword Cypher: A game taking place in SA would be cool. Puzzles would be fun and challenging. You would be able to play as Bess and George.

Terror on tour would be boring. All you would do is walk and walk. There would be no puzzles, and since they would need to animate a huge crowd, the game would be real slow. The only fun thing I could think of is the part where Nancy first meets the Hardy's.

I don't think it would be boring, you just have no imagination. And didn't you already say that?
"Hey! Don't do that here. You'll mess up my bedspread."
Rolling his eyes, Joe sat on the window sill and started sawing.
"Thank you, Joe."
"You're welcome, Martha Stewart."

tomswift2002

I don't see much game potential in Terror On Tour.  What would you do, just walk around a crowded concert venue talking to people?

Now then Double Crossing would offer more, considering that it is on a cruise ship, so you could incorporate portions of Terror On Tour into the story.

That's what the Nancy Drew games do, but we don't say " What do you do? Walk around in Venice talking to people? Sounds boring." ::)

In most Nancy Drew games there is PUZZLES! Terror On Tour made an interesting story but not a game, because there would be nothing to do!

Uses imagenation:
Walks around talking, looking for something to do. Switchs to the Hardys. Walks around looking for something to do. Looks at task list and sees that I have to talk to another person. Falls alseep.

Maybe they could mix it with Hits and Misses, or Vanishing Act. At least then you would have something to do.  Or maybe even Deadly Intent, or Rock N' Revenge, Or Mystery With A Dangerous Beat or even Top Ten Ways to die. Mixed with one of these storylines, Terror on Tour would be a good game, but not on it's own.
