Honestly, if it's a couple of posts that are a bit off no one has to freak out. I'm not aiming that at anyone specific, just to everyone in general.

Even if it goes on a bit longer, sometimes the discussion is just as good even if it's a bit off-topic. And a lot of the time it gets burned out, so what's the point of starting a new topic then?

Just my opinion. But I respect that we should put a little more effort into cleaning things up. And I understand about the useless posts that are random nothings if they keep popping up over and over.

Because some posts that are off-topic actually have some substance to it which I think is a different case.

Yeah, I don't mind a bit off-topic, but when I have to wade through a pile of mindless posts to read a few remotely interesting posts, it gets a little annoying.
