My family used to watch the TV show (that is from the '80's) a lot when it was in reruns here a few years ago :)

I even met a couple of the actors that were on there, actually.

Ashiru

Well, I'm talking more about the original show back in the day.

But yeah, she's in the modern movie remake or whatever. The original cast from the show really didn't like what they did with that movie. And with good reason.

I thought the movie was funny  :-\

I've never seen the show or the movie, but I do own the Gamecube game.  Although, I haven't played it much.

I guess it would be to anyone who didn't have knowledge of the previous show. As a separate entity you can take it with a clean view, which is understandable.

From my perspective, I see this movie as changing the heart of what the idea was originally. I mean, I'm not exactly against remakes or using past ideas because Get Smart seemed genuine.

I was going to watch the movie to see for myself what they did, but I can't do it. The original cast didn't like what the movie was doing, and I guess I feel a certain loyalty/respect for them.

Maybe one day I'll see it and be surprised, but just looking at the casting of Daisy and Uncle Jesse (Jessica Simpson and Willie Nelson) *facepalms*

I've seen the original show too

I haven't seen it either, and I don't want to.
"Hey! Don't do that here. You'll mess up my bedspread."
Rolling his eyes, Joe sat on the window sill and started sawing.
"Thank you, Joe."
"You're welcome, Martha Stewart."

I thought there was a good chance you might've.

Well, whatev. It's all entertainment in the end I guess.

Don't want to see the movie, the show, or both? I don't care either way, just wondering.
