Once one reaches Warrant Apprentice (300 posts), they have the ability to edit or add your custom title.

Nope, that is a title of a group.

If I joined, say, Manager on Duty, my title would be Manager on Duty?

It wouldn't be your title, that would just be the group of which you are a part.  As you can see now, I have both a custome title and a group in addition to the post rank group too.
