THE SCENE: Bayport Elementary School Science Fair
THE FACTS: Frank and Joe are sure Crusty hasn't really left present day. But if he isn't traveling through time, where is he?
THE CRIME: Phil Cohen tests out his time machine before the science fair with Chet's hamster, Crusty. And Crusty really does disappear! The only trouble is that no one knows how to get him back. Now Frank and Joe are receiving pictures of the hamster at different times in history -- he's with the dinosaurs in one and with medieval knights in another!
THE SUSPECTS: Trent Greengrass, who wanted to borrow Crusty for the Hamster Ball Relay Race the next day. Adam Ackerman, Bayport's biggest bully, who was seen fleeing the science fair while the time machine was sending Crusty back. Phil Cohen, who could have faked Crusty's disappearance to prove that his time machine worked.
THE MISSION: It's up to the Hardy Boys -- and you -- to solve the mystery of the missing hamster!
