When the Hardys rescue Alfred McVay from a mysterious attacker in the New York subway, they find themselves on a gem of a case. McVay has just paid a fortune for a giant ruby known as the Crimson Flame, and now he is the target of a ruthless international gang of jewel thieves!
Frank and Joe sign on as cowboys at McVay's cattle ranch, but the jewel is stolen right out from under their noses. The boys pursue the gang from the Arizona desert to the Thailand jungle, where they are drawn into a deadly encounter with a cobra and a man-eating tiger. They key to the conspiracy lies in an Oriental temple of doom -- there they must fight fire with fire to save the Crimson Flame.
